biography

I graduated from Goldsmith’s College University of London with a Joint Honours Degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies.

Somewhat accidentally, and as a likely result of being at university with a number of comedians, I found myself working in my final year as a tour manager, which involved driving comedians around the country for various gigs. From there I went on to work in theatre management at the Bloomsbury Theatre for over five years and then at the Lyric Hammersmith for a year via site and company managing for a host of London theatre, opera and comedy festivals.

Following a short break, during which time I lived in Paris, I took on the role of PA to Eddie Izzard, touring with him and moving back to London to work in his company. During this time other such stints included acting as emergency PA to Barry Humphries.

Having been offered the role of Company Manager for the Chicago Improvisation Festival for a season, I went to America. From Chicago I traversed the states to San Francisco where I worked with an independent publishing house. Since returning to London I have been freelancing as a writing consultant.
